The Qualsafe Level 3 Award in the Safe Administration of Lifesaving Medication is a regulated qualification designed for learners working in the pre-hospital care environment.
Typical roles could include, Ambulance Technicians, Associate Ambulance Practitioners (AAP), Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) etc.
Obtaining this qualification DOES NOT provide any learner with the authority to obtain, store or administer medication without the oversight of a clinical governance structure.
Prospective learners MUST already hold a Qualsafe Level 4 Certificate in First Response Emergency Care (RQF) (or recognised alternative) AND also be working within a Pre-Hospital Care environment that is regulated (such as by the CQC or other regulator)
About the course
